Aerospace Materials and Manufacturing

We have been Project Manager for the manufacture of space-qualified, photonic-based components produced under sub-contract through Stanford University as part of a main contract issued by NASA’s Jet Propulsion Labs. 

Under sub-contract through Corning Inc.’s R&D labs as part of a larger contract issued by the U.S. Office of Naval Research (ONR) and U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), we developed and extensively characterized new, low-friction, high thermal stability ceramic materials for possible jet engine applications.
